Phoenixville Hospital is a 151-bed facility that provides comprehensive medical services through approximately 25,000 emergency room visits, 8,200 inpatient admissions and more than 500 community outreach programs annually. In addition, our Regional Rehab Center ranked in the Top 10 percent of 781 inpatient rehabilitation facilities.

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, compounds and dispenses medical prescriptions. May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. Receives and stores incoming supplies. Verifies stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a manager or supervisor. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.


Requirements: -High school diploma or its equivalent -4 years of experience in the field or in a related area -Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures -Must have previous chemotherapy admixture experience and PXYIS experience to be considered for this position -Position will include a weekend rotation of every fourth weekend -Hazardous Substance IV Compounding experience, required
